Bridgeport police arrest person for Wood Avenue assault

BRIDGEPORT — City police on Friday night arrested an individual for assaulting a person on Wood Avenue, a city official said. 

Officers responded to a reported assault at about 8:30 p.m. at the intersection of Wood and Benham avenues,
