A man has been jailed for life with a minimum term of 37 years for the murder of a married couple who he poisoned with fentanyl after creating a gallery of fake personas to manipulate them.
Luke D’Wit, who befriended and worked for Stephen and Carol Baxter, later changed their will to make him a director of their shower mat company.
The 34-year-old IT worker had pretended to be a doctor from Florida and members of a fake support group for the thyroid condition Hashimoto’s, which Carol Baxter had.
