Police probe ‘suspicious’ fire at Melbourne ice cream shop, two months after competitor was firebombed | Victoria

A fire at a Melbourne ice cream shop is being treated as suspicious by police, two months after the firebombing of a nearby competitor.

Emergency services were called to the blaze at Capriccio gelateria in Williamstown, which is located on the coast in Melbourne’s southwest, about 3.45am on Friday.

Firefighters were able to contain the blaze within minutes, stopping it from spreading to neighbouring businesses.
