Operation True Promise source of confidence for Muslim world: senior commander

TEHRAN – Iran’s April 14 operation against Israeli positions in the occupied territories made Muslims around the world more confident in their ability to avert enemies, according to the head of the Basij Volunteer forces. 

“Strategically, the Islamic world expanded and was honored after Operation True Promise because Muslim nations believed that they are capable of defending their rights under the shadow of Islamic Ummah,” Brigadier General Gholamreza Soleimani said during his speech at a ceremony held in the capital Tehran.
